Welcome to VoltaBack, your trusted solution for simplifying at-home charging of professional vehicles. By accessing our platform, you agree to our Terms and Conditions of Use (TCU), which define the terms of our service, as well as your rights and responsibilities as a user.
Our service allows you to track and reimburse at-home charging for your employees. Interoperability, simplicity, transparency, and respect for privacy are the core principles guiding our commitment to you.
Before using our platform, we encourage you to carefully review our TCU. These govern your access to our services and define the rules relating to the use of the features, content, and solutions offered on the VoltaBack platform. By using our site, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these conditions and our Privacy Policy, and you agree to comply with them.
Definitions
To ensure clear and mutual understanding of these TCU, the following terms are defined:
- VoltaBack: refers to our company and the SaaS platform we provide, including all related services, software, data, and content.
- End User: any person employed by a VoltaBack client who uses our platform to access or manage energy-related data.
- Energy Data: all information collected, processed, or generated through the use of VoltaBack relating to energy consumption.
- Vehicle Data: specific information collected about end users’ vehicles, including identification data, location data, and vehicle consumption data.
- GDPR: the General Data Protection Regulation, the European Union legislation aimed at protecting personal data and privacy.
Terms of Use
Access to and use of VoltaBack services are subject to acceptance of and compliance with these TCU. These services are exclusively reserved for end users authorized by our clients, who must use VoltaBack in an ethical, responsible manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines provided by VoltaBack.
Consent and Privacy
By using our platform, users consent to the collection and processing of their personal data, including vehicle data, in strict compliance with the GDPR. VoltaBack undertakes to:
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data
- Limit data usage to purposes explicitly consented to by users
- Provide clear and direct access to information on personal data management

Data will be retained for the duration of the service unless you exercise your right to deletion, or where longer retention is required or permitted by law.

User Rights and Obligations
Users of VoltaBack must:
- Use the platform ethically and in compliance with applicable laws
- Keep their login credentials confidential
- Acknowledge that content accessible via VoltaBack is protected by intellectual property rights and refrain from infringing them
The end user grants VoltaBack, for the duration of use of the services, a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use data generated through the use of the services solely for (i) providing the services and (ii) improving VoltaBack services.
Personal Data
Personal information concerning you is necessary for managing services and maintaining our business relationship. It may be shared with companies involved in delivering these services.
Such data is also retained to comply with legal and regulatory obligations and to improve and personalize our services. VoltaBack retains personal data for limited periods depending on the type of data, purpose of processing, and legal obligations.

Use of Equipment
Users agree to use their vehicle, charging equipment, and any related hardware in accordance with the manufacturer’s, seller’s, lessor’s, or employer’s instructions.
VoltaBack is not involved in the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, or operation of vehicles or charging infrastructure and acts solely as a software provider.
Accordingly, VoltaBack cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from improper use, faulty installation, lack of maintenance, non-compliant use, or malfunction of equipment.
Intellectual Property
VoltaBack and its partners hold all rights relating to the platform’s content and software. A non-exclusive, non-transferable license is granted to users to access and use the services in accordance with these TCU.
Modification of the TCU
VoltaBack reserves the right to modify these TCU at any time. Users will be informed of such changes, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
Limitation of Liability
VoltaBack strives to ensure the availability and reliability of its platform but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or interruptions. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law, excluding any liability for indirect damages arising from the use of the platform.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute relating to the use of VoltaBack should, where possible, be resolved amicably. In the event of persistent disagreement, the parties agree to seek mediation before initiating legal proceedings.
General Provisions
These TCU are governed by French law. They constitute the entire agreement between VoltaBack and its users regarding the use of the platform. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
