At real cost, against supporting documents: Voltaback measures every home charge, applies the real tariff of the employee's electricity contract (high/low tariff, solar, ZEV/RCP self-consumption community), charging losses included, and generates documentation compliant with the salary certificate every month. No hardware is needed.
Real cost is fairer as soon as the driver covers any distance. The flat rate is capped at CHF 60 a month (item 13.2.3 of the salary certificate), whereas 15,000 km a year at the Swiss median price of 27.7 Rp./kWh already costs around CHF 69 a month, charging losses included. Reimbursement at real cost, documented charge by charge, has no cap and remains an expense reimbursement: that is what Voltaback automates.
