FAQ
Your questions about the app
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. To sign in, your company must have activated Voltaback: an account is then opened for you. Without an account activated by your employer, access is not possible. If your company is not yet a Voltaback customer, ask your fleet manager for a trial.
In a few minutes: connect your vehicle in 3 clicks, then upload an electricity bill to add your home details (address, electricity tariff). You receive a confirmation email once all your data is in place. Then charge on your usual socket or charger. After analysis, your charging sessions appear in the app, with no manual readings.
View your home charging month by month, with the details of each session (date, duration, energy, tariff applied, amount and status). See your statistics and the share of your charging done at home. Track your monthly statements or automated reimbursements. Receive important notifications and contact support.
At actual cost, to the cent: the app applies your exact tariff to the energy charged, according to your contract: night offer, dynamic tariff or fixed price. If you are a cross-border worker, the price of your contract in Belgium, Germany or France applies. If you have solar panels, your charging is reimbursed at your electricity tariff. Every session is detailed with its amount and status.
The app applies the reimbursement policy set by your company. So you can see which charging sessions are counted and which are not. For example, some companies do not reimburse weekend charging: those sessions then appear with a not-counted status.
No, there is no extra equipment to install. If you can charge at home, Voltaback can reimburse you. You use the socket or charger already at your home, and the app relies on your vehicle's data and your home information.
Yes. Voltaback works with or without a smart meter (Smarty in Luxembourg), depending on your set-up and your country of residence.
Voltaback works with all vehicles: you can connect any vehicle assigned to you by your fleet manager on Voltaback. The app is designed for home charging of electric and plug-in hybrid company cars.
Depending on the set-up activated by your company: either a monthly statement to download in the app, or an automated reimbursement that you track directly in the app.
Yes. The same account can be both admin and driver: sign in to the app with your usual credentials and you'll find your driver space. The admin space remains accessible on the web.
