Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. To sign in, your company must have activated Voltaback: an account is then opened for you. Without an account activated by your employer, access is not possible. If your company is not yet a Voltaback client, ask your fleet manager for a trial.
In a few minutes: connect your vehicle in 3 clicks, then upload an electricity bill to set up your home (address, electricity tariff). You receive a confirmation email once all your data is in. Then charge on your usual socket or charger. After analysis, your charging sessions appear in the app, with no manual readings.
View your home charging month by month, with the details of each session (date, duration, energy, tariff applied, amount and status). See your statistics and the share of your charging done at home. Track your monthly statements or automated reimbursements. Receive important notifications and contact support.
At actual cost, to the penny: the app applies your exact tariff to the energy charged, including off-peak and time-of-use rates (Octopus Go, Intelligent Octopus, Agile, Economy 7…), according to your contract. If you have solar panels, your charging is reimbursed at your electricity tariff. Each session is detailed with its amount and status.
The app applies the reimbursement policy set by your company. So you can see which sessions are counted and which are not. For example, some companies do not reimburse weekend charging: those sessions then show as not counted.
No, there is no extra equipment to install. If you can charge at home, Voltaback can reimburse you. You use the socket or charger you already have, and the app relies on your vehicle's data and your home details.
Yes. Voltaback works with or without a smart meter, depending on your setup.
Voltaback works with all vehicles: you can connect any vehicle your fleet manager has assigned to you on Voltaback. The app is designed for home charging of electric and plug-in hybrid company cars.
It depends on the setup your company has activated: either a monthly record to download in the app, or an automated reimbursement through payroll that you track directly in the app. For a company car, reimbursing home electricity is free of tax and NIC.
Yes. The same account can be both admin and driver: sign in to the app with your usual credentials and you will find your driver space. The admin space stays available on the web.
