Voltaback is compatible with all battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles on the market, all brands: European, Asian and American. More than 48 manufacturers are connected.
No. Voltaback works without a smart meter. When some meter data is not available, it relies on the vehicle's data and the relevant documents, such as the electricity bill or the charge point operator's invoice.
No. No connected charger, no smart cable, no box. Voltaback works with any socket or charger already in place. It uses the data already collected by the car manufacturer and the electricity supplier.
Only the data needed to handle the reimbursement: date, energy, amount and, with the HMRC per-mile rate, business miles. No geolocation is ever sent to the company, in line with UK GDPR and the ICO's guidance on monitoring workers.
All data is hosted in the European Union, on servers meeting the highest security standards. Voltaback is ISO 27001 certified.
